My process is that I meet potential clients for a free initial consultation.  I listen to their needs.  Then, I design between two and five proposals to fit their needs.  These are just sample proposals.  I can specially design any type of proposal.

I have national and international clients.  We do our meetings on the phone, Skype or ichat.

TELEVISION CONSULTS

PROPOSAL #1
PITCH CONSULT
SERVICE FEE – $250.00
In this service, I will work with you on your pitch.  This could be for TV or features.  I have a strong track record with people selling projects that do this consult. With this service, we will meet one time and go over your pitch from top to bottom.  I will work with you on tips that I have found to lead writers to success.

PROPOSAL #2
PITCH MEETING
SERVICE FEE – $350.00
This service is for a Pitch Meeting.  This includes us meeting one time for up to an hour and a half in length to go over 3-5 pitches.  You can do this before going in for meetings or as a way to decide what script to write and what concept is the most viable in the market.

MEETING SKILLS
SERVICE FEE – $250.00
This service is to go over your meeting skills.  Many writers are very strong on the page but they fall apart when it comes to the meeting.  With this service, we will go over the meeting process, what to expect, how to prepare, what you’ve done in the past that hasn’t worked and I will teach you new skills that will help you succeed.

In this service, I will review your Concept/Outline for your spec or pilot script.  I will give you written and verbal notes.  This includes one meeting up to an hour in length to go over the notes.

In this service, I will read your television spec two times.  I will give you written/verbal notes on the first draft and second draft of your script.  This includes two meetings to go over the notes and your log line.

In this service, we will start with the outline.  I will read your outline one time and give you written and verbal notes.  I will read two drafts of your spec script and give you written and verbal notes on both drafts.  This includes a meeting up to an hour in length to go over the notes and the log line.

In this service, we will start with your concept.  For our first meeting, you will pitch me your concept for each story in your spec script.  Our second meeting will be to go over notes for your outline.  Our third and fourth meetings are to go over two drafts of your spec script.  You will receive written and verbal notes on both drafts.  The meetings will run up to an hour in length and we will go over the notes, your log line and your pitch.

With this service, I will read your pilot three times.  We can start in the outline or script phase.  If we start in the outline phase, I will read your outline one time and give you written/verbal notes.  I will read two drafts of your script and give you written/verbal notes on both drafts.  If we start in the script phase, I will read three drafts of your script and give you written/verbal on all three drafts.  This includes three meetings, ranging up to an hour in length, to go over the notes, bible, log line and pitch.

ASSESSMENT OF YOUR WRITING PORTFOLIO
In this service, I will read each of the script that you have in your writing portfolio one time and give you written/verbal notes on each draft.  There will be a meeting for each script where we will cover the notes, your log line and career guidance.

1 spec, 1 pilot and 2 meetings -     $800.00
2 specs, 1 pilot and 3 meetings -   $1,150.00

In this service, we will work on two pilot scripts.  One script, I will read two times and give you written/verbal notes.  For the second script, I will read it three times and give you written/verbal notes on each draft.  I will also read your bibles and or pitch documents.  This includes 5 meetings to go over the notes, log lines, pitch and career guidance.

FEATURE CONSULTS

PROPOSAL #1
TREATMENT CONSULT
SERVICE FEE – $400.00
For this service, I will read your treatment/outline one time and give you written and verbal notes.  We will go over the story structure and foundation of your story as well as characters and pivotal moments.  This includes one meeting up to an hour in length to go over the notes.

PROPOSAL #2
SERVICE FEE – $550.00
For this service, I will read your feature script one time.   It includes one meeting and one phone call.  For the meeting, we will go over the notes verbally.  The meeting could go up to one hour in length.  The call can go up to 1/2 hour in length and will not cover a second read but will cover any questions you have in the revision process of making notes.  If it is decided that an additional read is needed, the cost for an additional read and an additional meeting is $325.00.

PROPOSAL #3
SERVICE FEE – $900.00
This includes us working together on one feature script. I will read two drafts of the script and give you written/verbal notes on the first draft and verbal on the second. This includes two meetings (lasting up to one hour in length) to go over the notes.

SERVICE FEE – $1,300.00
This includes us working together on one feature script starting from the outline. I will read the outline/treatment once and give you written/verbal notes. I will read two drafts of your script and give you written/verbal notes on both drafts.  This includes three meetings to go over the notes, log line and pitching.

PROPOSAL #4
SERVICE FEE – $1,525.00
This includes us working together on two feature scripts. One will be with half a consult. This means that I will read it once and give you written/verbal notes. This is for a script that you feel is in strong shape and only needs one read. It is a way for me to get to know your material without having to pay for the full consult. The second script is with consult. I will read two drafts and give you written and verbal notes on both drafts. This service includes four meetings up to an hour in length to go over the notes, pitching and career guidance.

PROPOSAL #5
SERVICE FEE – $2,200.00
This includes us working together on two features. For one of them, we will start in the outline stage and I will read the outline and give you written/verbal notes and then I will read two drafts of the script and give you written/verbal notes on both drafts. For the second feature, I will read two drafts of the script and give you written/verbal notes on both drafts. This includes six meetings to go over script notes, pitching, discussion of log lines and career guidance.

I add value by increasing the # of scripts, the # of meetings, the # of drafts I’ll read and adding pitching, prep for writer meetings and career guidance.

BOOK CONSULTS

PROPOSAL #1
SERVICE FEE – $1,600.00
This service includes me working with you on content of your book.  I will read your manuscript one time, I will give you written/verbal notes.  This includes two meetings to go over the notes.  (This is based on a 250 page book.)

PROPOSAL #2
This service includes me reading your novel two times.  The first time, I will read it and give you my overall thoughts.  The second time, we will break it into 100 page increments and I will give you detailed written/verbal notes on each section.  This includes three meetings to go over the notes and career guidance.

PROPOSAL #3
This service includes me reading your novel two times.  The first time, I will read it and give you my overall thoughts.  The second time, we will break it into 100 page increments and I will give you detailed notes on each section.  This service also includes us adapting your novel into a feature or a pilot.  We will start with the outline.  I will give you written/verbal notes on the first draft.  Then, I will read two drafts of the script.  This includes eight meetings to go over the notes, prep for meetings, pitching  and career guidance.

RATES

Television – My rates start at $250.00 (Meeting Only – No reading)
My rates for meetings with reading start at $350.00 for spec scripts and $450.00 for pilot scripts.

Feature Script Consults – My rates start at $550.00 (This is for just one read and one meeting.)

Novels – My rates depend on the # of pages.
For a 250 page novel, it is $1,600.00 for the novel consult alone.
For a 250 page novel with a consult to write a pilot or a feature from it and career guidance, my rate is $2,250.00.
